Key strengths for this questionnaire are the questions on systematic approach to environmental performance, transparency and dissemination of environmental performance, results of the environmental management systems and voluntary initiatives in sustainability.
Assesses the efforts by companies on practical environmental protection in the area of delineating and monitoring of emissions, pollution prevention and reduction, sensitive receptor protection, including, inter alia, biodiversity resources.

This questionnaire analyses the effectiveness in implementation of waste management policies and standards at the company level in Romania, focusing on effort towards waste minimization, prevention, and reduction of amounts of hazardous wastes generated.
It includes indicators covering waste management policies, waste auditing, legal compliance in waste management, waste generation performance, as well as the ways companies manage their wastes.
